The Episcopal Church has wronged me by not staying true to the word of God. By adopting a new look for the church they have left the truth in the cold. And are inviting sin and corruption into the holy organized Christian worship.
The Episcopal Church has allowed by not banning same sex marriage, and then later openly allowing it. They put openly gay men in the positions of leadership. Thereby they are disobeying the commands that the God they proclaim to follow. This is both immoral and just plain wrong.
A common belief I think is wrong is the Americans governments continued support of the war in Iraq. We have finished every goal we set out to do and continued to stay. We have given the Iraqi people a chance to change the way they live life. And we continue to stay, continue to make up more excuse for our occupation of Iraq. We should leave the Iraqi people alone, let them deal with there civil war, their strife, their problem. We got rid of the terrorists no we should come home and recuperate, so that we can mount another attack on the terrorists if need be. The Iraqis are good people, and can take care of themselfs. We have given them a new country a new military
Racism is still a plague in our country; I believe that if all Americans stand together to stop it, that we can get this issue taken care of. Forgive each other, and move on with life. The African Americans and white, Mexican and Chinese must learn that were all one big country. And our lively hood depends on our love and support of each other.
The problem is cultural and racial ignorance. We don’t care to learn about others ways. So we assume our ways are the best. That we are better than others. This is shown by both groups of people, white and black. A lack of interest in change, we would rather just sit and complain. A new spark of social change is needed, we need to all do some thinking and learn of others and what they have done for us.
I believe that the church is the best place to start. Our religion ties us together, the majority of us proclaim to be Christian. So we need to practice the love that the bible teaches us. The pulpit is the way that racial reform started and that is how it will end as well.
I think that if some of the pastors met together and discuses the problems, and discover a way to find peace and a sense of unity, then send a list of nessisary changes to Washington detailing changes that need to be made in the laws of our country. But most importantly, we need to hear, live by and practice the love Jesus showed us, to each other.
I believe the best way to educate Americans is by the media, be it a television broadcast or radio. These communications have held us together in times of war and in times of peace. Americans love to see politicians get up and say how they will make change, then laugh at them for making promises they don’t keep. We need to keep faces a part of the racism change. Because if you can see the face of another person you will have emotion for them, respect will be there when people see eye to eye.

I agree with you about the Episcopal Church. If they claim to be Christ-followers they should not set up homosexuals as examples in the church.

However, I disagree with you about having troops in Iraq. I know I am less knowledgeable on the subject than others. I would like to present the idea though that we have not accomplished all we have set out to do there. Transition is never easy especially on such a large scale, i.e. a country and it usually does not occur as quickly as we would prefer. But just because things aren't going just as we like doesn't mean we should just quit. If we pulled out all the troops and left Iraq alone, we would be doing more harm than good. If we pulled out now our enemies would look at us as wimps and they would take advantage of the unstable position Iraq is in right now. I would also like to add that its not just as simple as one-two-three. It is easy for us to sit back and say they should do this or they should do that, but really the people who are in the position to make those decisions are doing so to the best of their abilities. Personally, I believe our president is doing a good job and I shake at the thought of where we would be had the other man won the election.
Furthermore, the turmoil in Iraq is not isolated to just that country. Their problem became our problem when they drove our planes into our buildings and killed hundreds of our innocent people. It probably began before that, but that was when we had to make a decision to no longer be passive.
The radical Muslims hate us. They want us dead. They are not stopping or slowing down in their attacks, and neither should we in our defense, even though it is not easy or pleasant.

Also, my opinion on racism is that it is a worldview problem. The only reason we make a big deal out of a persons skin color is because we have been taught that evolution is true and the lie is that the fact that some people are black means they are closer to monkeys than other people and are therefore not as good. This is completely and utterly bogus but it is a widely accepted lie, though perhaps only subconsciously.

Anyway, those are interesting topics that are really hard to address. They are not as simple and black and white as I would like to think. They really are too multidimensional to address in a few paragraphs.

I only will ask, Who helped put america together as a country after we fought a seven year long war agaisnt the biggest, strongest country in the world at that time. The Freanch? No they left after the war was done. we did it ourselfs, and then repeled the english a second time 12 years later. We used a completly new goverment, so we cant say the iraqis cant do it. I do belive that we have stayed to long. I do support the americans and other cooaliton mebers in iraq, and i pray for their safty. But what good will it do us there? The terrerists will just go to another country. Will we invade Russia or china next?

And why do the radical muslims hate us? What could we havce done to upset them so? Maybe it was tthe american invasion of their culture. When we ruined their culture, not by our spread of religion, but by mcdonalds, walmart and other american culture that there culture repels it is so diferant. Perhaps that is why they hate us so much?

The president is elected? is he not, So dosnt he have a responsibity to the voters to head their majority? Mr. Bush is now just being stubborn and vile to the congress. He came right out and refused to sign any bill that would bring home the tropps on any other time table besides his. He dosent want his pride injured. He isnt thinking aboiut the familys of those who have people in iraq. I dont see his daughters in the army. By the way Prince Phillip of the royal family is in iraq now. He is unwilling to commit us fully, but wont let us leave when mosyt of us want to leave. The government was split into three pieces to prevent the power mr. bush is making for himself, the congress decides wqhen we fight a war, and they also have the power to decide when we come home. It has just worked out that all other wars have been fineseshed before congress had to take our troops home.

Okay, look, America is not the standard. It is not the average. America is different than any other country. Also, France is not the standard either. If America is above average France is below it.
But that is beside the point. We now talking about a different time and a different place

Furthermore, we didn't go over there to set up a new government. We went over there to attack our enemies on their own turf before they had a chance to kill any more of our people.
To say you support the troops and to say they should not be over there is an oxymoron. If you support them then you support what they are doing. Obviously you do not support what they are doing and therefore you cannot logically support they themselves.

You have stated that you believe they have stayed too long. That is one way of looking at it, however, you are not there. You do not know what the people in charge of them know. I would venture to say all you know is what the media has told you.
Are you saying because the terrorist are hard to catch, we shouldn't even try to go after them? Are you saying that we shouldn't try to protect our country from people who would like to obliterate us off the face of the earth?

You asked why the radical Muslims hate us. That is a good question. They do not hate us because of Wal-Mart or McDonalds; they hate us because of what those things stand for. They stand for freedom and a free market society, the principle of opportunity and self-responsibility.

We have not ruined their country! Have you taken a look at our country? Are you not aware what they are trying to do here? Don't you know that Islam is growing very fast as a religion in America? Talk about infiltrating a society. Over there if you are a Christian you die, over here if you are a Muslim you have the same freedoms and American obligations as the Christian Americans do.

Please don't kid yourself into thinking it is not a religious issue, it is. Running planes into another country’s building is not a tactic of war; it is a tactic of fear. They didn't have to kill a lot of people, that time. They just needed to make a lot of people scared. The evidence has shown they did a pretty good job. However, what they did not plan on was a country that would come after them, but that is what they got. Yes, it has not been easy and yes, we are not done yet.

We most certainly did elect the president. He is under no obligation to the citizens to head their majority. None. Zero. Zip. He has a responsibility to the law, not to the public's opinion. We elected him to lead the country in the best way he knows how. It may not be the "best" way, but never would he be able to please everyone. Since that is the case, he is under an obligation to stand firm to what he believes is the right thing to do. He should and does take advise, but ultimately it is up to him to make the decision.
If he did refuse to sign a bill to bring troops home it is because he felt it was the necessary thing to do. You are making it a personal issue, as if he's on an ego trip or something.

By the way, how in the world do you know what he is or is not thinking? Have you spoken with him? Did you call him up on the phone and ask him, "why aren't you signing a bill to bring the troops home?” I respectfully say you did not, and because I assume you are not telepathic, you don't know what he is thinking.

Also, it does not freakin' matter if President Bush's daughters are in the military or not. That is a non-issue. In case you didn't know, the troops in the military volunteered for the job.

Oh, and about congress having the power to bring the troops home, the president has the power to veto. That is his prerogative. If 3/4 of congress does not agree with his veto they can veto his veto. Maybe you should tell them to get on the ball or something. That is your prerogative. It is your right and it is something the Iraqis did not have until we went over there.
